WHAT DOES BRUSHLESS MEAN ON A MOTOR?
The motor uses electronics to detect position and transfer electrical current into the stator, which is why brushes are not needed.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF BRUSHLESS MOTORS?
By doing away with the brushes which produce friction and heat, brushless motors:
- Are more efficient
- Run cooler
- Are often lighter and more compact than brushed motors
- Can more readily allow higher speed or increased torque than a brushed motor, which can result in an improved user experience
- The absence of brushes in brushless motors eliminates many of the problems associated with brushed motors, such as wear and tear, maintenance requirements, and noise.
