HOW TO LOCATE YOUR MODEL NUMBER
This guide can help locate model numbers on power tools, mowers, chipper shredders, leaf and snow blowers.
How To Find The Date Code On Batteries
For batteries, you can find the date code on top printed or engraved directly on the plastic housing near the charging cells. It's six digits long and has a date format.
For most of our chargers, you can find both the date code at the bottom of the unit. This information can be engraved or printed directly on the plastic.
RIDING MOWERS
Riding mower model numbers are found by flipping the seat forward. The model number is printed on the left side of the Product Identification Label, attached to the underside of the seat, and starts with the letters, "CM".
ZERO-TURN MOWERS
Zero-Turn mower model numbers are found by flipping the seat forward. The model number is printed on the left side of the Product Identification Label, attached to the metal bracket that supports the seat, and begins with the letters, "CM".
PUSH MOWERS
The Product Identification Label is typically located on or near the cutting deck beginning with the letters, "CM".
CHIPPER SHREDDER
Chipper-Shredder model numbers are found on the metal base near the starter housing. The 11-character model number is printed on the left side of the Product Identification Label, beginning with the letters, "CM".
SNOW BLOWERS
Snow blower model numbers are located on the backside of the metal base between the left and right rear-wheels. The 11-character model number is printed on the left side of the Product Identification Label and will begin with the letters "CM".
